Hello everyone! My name is Terri Scofield. I am the disability coordinator for our Ada County campus. I have my associates degree from Western Iowa Tech Community College, my bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and in October 2016, I will have my Masters in Education: Special Education from Concordia University. My passion runs deep for education in general, but I have a special place in my heart for special education and bilingual education. I believe that all students should be given the opportunity to excel to the best of their abilities.
I am definitely a family person and my happiest times are doing activities with my kids (My children are all young adults now). I’m originally from the Midwest and have the Midwest attitude of work hard, play hard, Respect, God and family. I love to read, hike, walk my dogs, travel, work in the garden and cook. I love animals and worked as a volunteer on a rescue team for many years. Being on this committee allows me the change to be part of the change, making our world a better place. I love my position here at College of Western Idaho and enjoy being able to help students be successful.
