Stephanie Hudon has been teaching for the Life Sciences Department since 2012 specializing in Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology. Stephanie was certified as an online instructor in 2014 and has run an online Biology 1 every term since. She also teaches for Boise State University where her full time job is as a researcher and lab manager working with synthetic RNA switches to control gene expression. Classes there have included Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Human Physiology laboratories.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. After graduation she opened a K-8 charter school with an arts and science curriculum and went on to earn her Master of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology at Oregon Health Science University. She is currently completing a doctorate in Education from William Howard Taft University.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys hiking, running, biking and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
