Faculty - Adjunct

Shelly joined CWI in the spring of 2010. She is a full time faculty member for the Business Department where she teaches Information Science and Business Statistics. While at CWI she has been a part of the faculty Senate as well as the Professional Standards Committee.

Shelly received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Chemistry Education in 2004 and a Masters of Business Administration in 2007 from Northwest Nazarene University.  She was also an adjunct instructor in the business program at NNU from 2007-2009.

Prior to teaching at CWI, Shelly spent time in a range of various business roles. She has worked as a consultant in Total Quality Management helping companies improve processes and understanding workflows that affect the bottom line.  Shelly has enjoyed positions in banking and lending as well as working with real estate agents.  In all her endeavors she has focused on education and teaching those around her in various levels and roles.  Teaching at the college level is a passion and she loves the opportunity to work with students at CWI.

Shelly is married with two sons, Edison and Watson.  In her spare time she likes to read, play video games, board games, and card games.  She and her husband own a local game store and host game nights at their home.  She is actively involved in church working with small groups, marriage ministry, and sitting on the finance board.
