Rebecca Flock is a native of the Treasure Valley and received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Grove City College, PA followed by her Masters degree in Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. Her research interests include compost science and waste utilization. Past projects have included: working with the OSU Ag Experiment Station regarding alternative irrigation techniques to optimize plant growth while preventing erosion; consulting with Cal-trans to reduce road-side erosion through the use of compost amendments; partnering with Seeds of Hope to provide clean water technologies for rural areas of Zambia, Africa. Rebecca currently teaches an array of chemistry classes at CWI. Personal philosophy: "Every breakdown is an opportunity for breakthrough."
