Randal spent most of his primary and secondary school years in Tennessee. He went to college at BYU, then afterwards has stayed in the West. He moved to Idaho in 2005 and has been teaching at CWI since 2010. Before coming to College of Western Idaho, Randal was a mechanical engineer at a Navy shipyard. While there he earned an MBA from PLU and branched out to work in finance and accounting for several manufacturing companies. He loves numbers, spreadsheets, and teaching math. His hobbies include riding his dual-sport motorcycles, fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
