Michell Boldt leads the Applied Accounting department at CWI. This is her first year in applied accounting, though she has taught as an adjunct instructor in accounting since 2009. Before teaching, she spent the past 15 years working as a CPA in public accounting, private corporations and as an entrepreneur. She earned her Bachelors in Business Administration at Washington State University and a Masters in Taxation at Portland State University. She is currently working towards a Doctorate in Educational Technology.
Michell and her husband of 26 years have 6 children and have lived in Boise for the past 7 years. Five of their six children are currently in college – two of which are enrolled as dual credit students here at CWI.
