Charles A. Dickinson, M.A., Assistant Professor of Sociology.  Mr. Dickinson earned his MA in sociology from Idaho State University after completing a BS in sociology at Boise State University.  He spent more than 10 years as a researcher conducting public policy, marketing, and public opinion projects for both public and private clients.  He joined CWI in 2009 with over five years of experience as an adjunct instructor at the College of Western Idaho, Boise State University, and Idaho State University.  His areas of emphasis include social stratification, methodologies, and theory.  Most recently he has been working on the issue of technological intrusion in society.

Mr. Dickinson has served as a leader on and off campus.  He has been both Vice-President and President of the Faculty Senate.  He is faculty advisor for the Sociology club, which he founded in 2009.  He has worked on countless community service projects, including food drives, clothing drives, and awareness campaigns for domestic violence, suicide, and breast cancer.  He has served as Program Chair, Course Quality Mentor, and In-Service facilitator among his many college service areas. 

Mr. Dickinson has lived in the Treasure Valley for over 20 years.  He lives with his wife and two children, any free time he has is spent with them.
