Student Clubs Organize Holiday Projects

College of Western Idaho (CWI) students are organizing several community service projects this holiday season to help give back to residents of the Treasure Valley. If you are interested in helping their causes, here are some of the projects being run by student clubs.

The Pound Puppy Christmas (Biology Club) - Gathering donated blankets and pet food for local animal shelters. Ada County Center, Canyon County Center, Nampa Campus Academic Building, Aspen Classroom Building, and Micron Center for Professional Technical Education.

Candy Cane Sales (Sociology Club) - Raising money for Miracle on Idaho Street. Ada County Center, Old Chicago Restaurant.

Winter Garden Aglow (Community Service Club) - Idaho Botanical Gardens.

Battle of the Campuses (ASCWI) - Ada County Center, Canyon County Center, Nampa Campus Academic Building, Aspen Classroom Building, and Micron Center for Professional Technical Education.

Giving Tree (Psychology Club) – Ada County Center, Canyon County Center, Nampa Campus Academic Building, Aspen Classroom Building, and Micron Center for Professional Technical Education.

Toys for Tots (Community Service Club, BPA) – Ada County Center.

Several of these projects will conclude by mid-December so there is no time to waste in getting involved.
