Club Events

United Registered Organizations and Clubs

UROC is a coalition of student organizations who are committed to bringing about meaningful change on campus and providing an enhanced academic experience for all.  UROC serves as a resource for student groups and an agent for change in policy and institutional climate at the College.  UROC exists through the support of ASCWI and Student Life.  

  • UROC believes that through supporting each organization events that we become a stronger voice for diversity and change.
  • UROC supports student organizations with funding for their programs.
  • UROC's organizations serve as a resource to all groups by sharing their obstacles and successes navigating through the college system.
  • UROC encourages groups to bring pressing issues to the groups to institute change. 

These are the seats in the UROC Executive Council: UROC Chair, Co-Chair, Treasurer, Historian, and Secretary.

Members of the College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Nursing program helped shed light on an impactful initiative this week, volunteering at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk. The event, which serves as a fundraiser to help find a cure for blood cancer, took place at Ann Morrison Park in Boise on Thursday (Oct. 1). Over 20 students, faculty, and staff helped with the first aid station, as well as directing supporters and participants on the walk.
