Exercise and Health Science Club

Are you interested in Health, Exercise, Medicine, or Science? Do you want to make friends who are interested in getting and staying healthy? Would you enjoy getting to know more about the field of Exercise and Health Science? And please note you do not need to be a major to be a part of this club. But if you are that’s great!

Join our club! We are the College of Western Idaho Exercise and Health Science Club. We are students pursuing Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, and Physical Therapy degrees, as well as individuals who are just plain interested in how the body works. We have organized trips to American College of Sports Medicine conferences, and participated in countless fundraising and volunteer opportunities around Boise to fund cool activities and promote fit lifestyles in our community.

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) teamed up with Nampa Parks and Recreation Department again to help present a public screening of the movie Minions at Optimist Park in Nampa. CWI hosted a booth while the student Street Team provided entertainment and engaged with the community. Members of the College’s Exercise and Health Science club led the Street Team efforts.

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Street Teams headed to the Boise Music Festival last weekend to reach future students and let the community know we support them. The Physics Club got the party started early in the day and reached the crowds before things got too busy.
