Transferable Credits

Published: March 15, 2016

“I spent 16 years working with developmentally disabled people. I truly loved my job, but decided to go back to school after I could no longer do it physically. I chose CWI with the intent to transfer to a four-year school. I am now a member of the McNair’s Scholar program at Boise State University, and present at the state, regional, and national levels. I would not be on the path that I am on today if it wasn’t for CWI. It allowed me to reinvent myself and gave me the confidence to see who I truly am.” —Amber Shoopman—Transferability

College of Western Idaho has articulation agreements with Idaho’s universities and colleges that offer direct access to transfer assistance, priority registration, and exclusive benefits for CWI students. Tuition and fees are half the cost of public universities and a quarter of the cost of most private universities, which helps reduce the financial burden for students seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher.
