Street Teams Rock Boise Music Fest

Published: July 1, 2016

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Street Teams headed to the Boise Music Festival last weekend to reach future students and let the community know we support them.

The Physics Club got the party started early in the day and reached the crowds before things got too busy. We handed out sunglasses, lip balm, and beach balls and had a great time on the main stage lawn with plenty of space to play in!  Andy Grammar hit the main stage around 2 p.m. and the Student Nurses Association took over the effort and engaged the crowds through vendor alley; making friends around the loop.

Just as the Exercise and Health Science Club arrived to reach the crowds, Coolio took main stage and touched the crowds with his tribute to many past iconic musicians, including Michael Jackson who passed seven years ago to the day of the festival.

The evening wrapped up with Nelly and Daughtry. Our teams had a great time and we were able to reach tons of people with stories and enthusiasm about what CWI has done to better students’ lives!
