College of Western Idaho (CWI) sponsored the Boise Hawks Thursday night game against the Eugene Emeralds. With temperatures right around 100 degrees and the sun still high in the sky, CWI promotional items provided great relief to spectators! The booth at the front gates hand out hundreds of fans while sunglasses and lip balm were passed throughout the bleachers. The giveaways were graciously received by all including many CWI alumni, past and present faculty, as well as President Bert Glandon who attended the game with his wife. The community was sure glad to see CWI and our ballpark necessities!
