Dual Credit Graduation Steps

Students who plan to graduate from high school in May and simultaneously graduate from College of Western Idaho (CWI) need to 1) apply for admission to CWI and 2) apply for graduation in order to be awarded a degree or certificate. All students interested in pursuing associate degrees from the College are required to meet with an academic advisor and the Dual Credit office to ensure full completion of all degree requirements.

We encourage students to begin this process at the beginning of January if planning to graduate from high school in May or June. If the student plans to graduate from high school in December, begin this process in August.

As a graduation candidate, Dual Credit students are also eligible to participate in the May commencement ceremony. If you plan to participate, you must complete this process no later than March 1 or your name will not appear in the commencement program.
