Apprenticeship Enrollment Opens with Program Open House [1]
On May 5, College of Western Idaho (CWI) Workforce Development (WD) [2] is inviting the community to explore the in-demand careers available through training in the CWI apprenticeship programs. The College will host an information session for its Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, and Plumbing programs:
Thursday, May 5
5-7 p.m.
Canyon County Center, Room 154
2407 Caldwell Blvd., Nampa – View Map [3]
Apprenticeship Programs through CWI Workforce Development allow students to earn a living while completing training in their desired career. Classes are taught online and in person, providing flexibility as students learn the skills that will make them in-demand in today’s workforce. Once students complete their apprenticeship program, there are multiple areas of focus that they may choose in each industry.
Instructors, students, and employers will be at the open house to talk with attendees and answer any questions they may have about getting into one of these in-demand careers.
Registration is now open for upcoming apprenticeship classes, both online and in person:
- Electrical Apprenticeship [4]
- HVAC Apprenticeship [5]
- Plumbing Apprenticeship [6]
- Masonry Apprenticeship [7]
Please call 208.562.2700 or email wd@cwi.edu [8] for more information about the event or with any questions about the apprentice programs.
