About:

Tomas was born in McAllen, Texas, and later moved to Wilder, Idaho, during his childhood. He grew up in a close-knit community there. He attended Primary and Secondary School in Wilder. After graduating from Wilder High School, he received the College Assistant Migrant Program scholarship at Boise State University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History Secondary Education in 1999 and began working at Boise State University shortly after.

For twelve years, Tomas worked at Boise State, traveling between Southeastern Idaho and Hood River, Oregon, to recruit students for the university. He was assigned to cover the State of Arizona from 2008 to 2011 before transitioning to work at the College of Western Idaho (CWI). He spent eight years at CWI before taking a break in 2019 to spend time with his family.

In the subsequent years, he moved to Iowa for three years and then spent one year in Fort Johnson, Louisiana. After this time away, Tomas felt ready to return home. He is enthusiastic about bringing his children back to the vibrant Treasure Valley community in Idaho.
