Mitch Minnette was born and raised in Lewiston Idaho and is a graduate from Lewis & Clark State College with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Business. Mitch started working for the Boys & Girls Club (BGC) in Lewiston at the age of 18 and has been with the BGC since. While attending college, he worked his way up the ladder and after graduating accepted a position as the Director of Operations for the Boys & Girls Club of Central Oregon.  This move provided a significant opportunity to grow professionally with a large span of control including a $5 million dollar budget, 9 Club sites spread out over 6 cities and oversight of 72 professional staff and 11,000 club members.

After 5 great years in Central Oregon, Mitch’s dream of running his own BGC became a reality. In October of 2004, Mitch became the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Nampa. Since assuming this role, Mitch has made a significant impact to this organization. In 2007 Mitch provided the leadership to successfully raise $2.1M through a capital campaign for the expansion of a major BGC facility that included a Gym, Teen Center & Business Center.  Since assuming this leadership role, he has been able to double the size of the daily attendance, double the size of annual revenue and developed the first ever endowment that currently has a balance in excess of $300,000.  Most importantly, Mitch has established himself as a leader in the Treasure Valley through his skills to establish and cultivate strong relationships with individuals, businesses and Foundations.

Mitch’s number one priority in his life is his family! He has a beautiful wife named Rebecca and two daughters, Maggie age 6 and Amelia age 4.  As a family they love to go camping, hiking or simply just hanging out with family and friends. When Mitch is not chasing his girls around, he enjoys playing all types of sports.
