Brett Reid is the Assistant Dean of Business, Education, Exercise and health Science at the College of Western Idaho. Prior to his arrival at CWI, Brett had a lengthy career in the criminal justice field, where he served as a police officer, and probation and parole officer, for more than 25 years.
He began teaching at the Peace Officer and Standards and Training center (P.O.S.T.) in Meridian on a part-time basis in 1995. In 2003 he accepted a position at the College of Southern Idaho as the Law Enforcement Program Coordinator/Instructor, and in 2010 he was became the Social Science Department Chair at CSI.
Reid received a Bachelor of Arts in Education-Career and Technical in 2011 and his Masters degree from the University of Idaho will be in Leadership and Organizational Behavior.
Brett grew up in central California but has been an Idaho resident now for more than 35 years. He and his wife, Teri, love the Treasure valley area and enjoy the performing arts, sporting events, and the many other wonderful opportunities for recreation that the Boise area has to offer.
