Bio: 

Vandye Forrester who teaches communication classes is new to CWI but is a 25 year veteran communication, debate, critical thinking and English teacher.  He has taught at University of Phoenix where he is Lead Faculty/Area Chair of Communication and English for the Idaho Campus, Treasure Valley Community College, California State University, UCLA and approximately 20 community colleges in Idaho, California, Oregon, Washington State, Montana, and Wyoming, plus the University of Miami in Florida.  Vandye also owns his own communication consulting firm, The Forrester Institute.  Vandye has privately published 14 workbooks and textbooks on the communication arts. He is a 48 year member of Toastmasters International where he holds the highest certification possible and has served for 38 years as a volunteer adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America.  He holds an AA from Miami-Dade College and a BA in Speech from the University of Miami, Florida.  He earned his Master’s Degree from California State University. Long Beach in Speech Communication.  His Master’s Thesis developed a new Rhetorical Theory from Aristotle's book The Rhetoric and Plato's dialog The Gorgias.  He is married to Vondi Forrester who is a forensic scientist with the US Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection.
