Teresa Isom has been working at CWI since January 2011. She has taught Math 015, 025, 108, 123, and 143. Most recently she has been teaching College Algebra at CWI. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.A. in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University.
She spent the first years of her life with her husband of 30 years following him from Idaho to Washington to England to California and back to Idaho as he did 22 years in the Air Force. She taught reading skills to elementary students when her children were young and decided to get a teaching certificate to teach her favorite subject, mathematics. She has been teaching all levels of mathematics to high school students for the last seven years now and teaching to college students for the last three years.
When she is not working, she loves playing role-playing games on game systems like X-Box and Playstation, playing card games like pinochle, going for walks, watching plays, and reading. She has a husband and three children who give joy to her daily life. And she always loves working on a math problem!
