Mr. Richard Cobey is a new addition to the adjunct faculty within the Business, Education, Exercise & Health Sciences department. Mr Cobey holds an M.S. degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Boise State (05) and recently was a PhD student with the University of Idaho. Mr Cobey has been Certified as an Athletic Trainer for over 25 years including working with the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL, NY Rangers of the NHL as well as the US Olympic program at Lake Placid in 08. Additionally Mr Cobey was intimately involved with the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has worked numerous international events in Rugby, Martial Arts, and Field Hockey. Prior to returning to the US, Mr Cobey was Senior Lecturer II level with the International Medical University teaching in the Chiropractic program. In September of this year Mr Cobey presented at the Federation of International Sports Medicine conducting a pre-conference work shop on athletic and Kinesiotaping procedures.
