Rachid Boussatta

Faculty - Adjunct

My name is Rachid R Boussatta. AKA Richard. I lived in Idaho since the year 2000. Prior to my move, I lived in Orlando Florida and New York. My journey started after I graduated from Baruch College and the City University of NY with a BBA in International Marketing and a minor in Math.

Since I’ve always wanted to own and operate my own business, I came across a great deal and purchased a retail store. Despite the long hours, I worked extremely hard while learning other aspects of managing a business on my own. Finally, after five long years, I decided to sell it for a decent profit. At that point, my wife and I moved to Idaho to raise our children Alex and Hana who are now respectively 17and 12. While living in Boise Idaho, I worked as a restaurant manager, store manager, and as a District Trainer for a national retail store. I also worked overseas for a year setting up a family owned business that specialized in importing, exporting, and selling medical supplies all over the world.

After managing for years, I decided to take a break and go back to school. In 2012, I earned my MBA with a concentration in Accounting. I even went further in my studies and earned a certificate in Project management and Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University. While in school and because of my entrepreneurial expertise and my passion to the idea of self employment, entrepreneurship and independence, I opened a small restaurant in Meridian called the Korner Bistro.  I served signature sandwiches, Panini’s, and a variety of specialty coffee including Latte and Frappes.

My ultimate goal before getting my MBA is to become an educator and start teaching Business, Finance, or Math. In 2013, I joined CWI and started my next journey in Education.

My hobbies are flipping houses, four wheeling, jet skiing, running, and hitting the GYM whenever possible. My motto is, "Healthy mind in a healthy body”
