Ms. Bourbonnais began her career in Surgical Technology at Boise State University in 1989.  She worked for 10 years at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center as a Certified Surgical Technologist with a focus in neurosurgery, vascular and general surgery as well as orthopedics.  In 1999 she transitioned to the classroom, teaching as a lab and clinical instructor with the BSU Surgical Technology program.  In 2003 she took over the position of Program Director at BSU and remained in that position until the program transferred to CWI, where she continued as Program Director.  In addition to being a Certified Surgical Technologist for over 30 years, she earned a B.S. Ed. From University of Idaho, as well as a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Adult Education from University of Idaho.  In 2015 she was awarded the Fellow of the Association of Surgical Technologists credential.
