Marianne Daugharthy has been teaching at CWI since January 2010. Marianne also teaches for the University of Phoenix Online, teaching Introduction to Information Systems, Database Concepts, Critical Thinking, and Intercultural Diversity. Marianne also facilitates numerous student workshops. Marianne has been teaching for the University of Phoenix for over 12 years.
Marianne was born in San Diego, CA, but has lived in numerous places. Her father served in the United States Navy, and she followed in his footsteps serving 20 years in the Navy. Her field of specialty was information systems. Marianne had the opportunity to work on large mainframe systems, to working on developing a networked system in the Far East with the precursor to today’s internet
Marianne’s past times include camping, skiing, gardening, and her passion is quilting. Marianne currently heads a local Prayers and Squares quilting group in Payette, Idaho. The group makes simple quilts to give to those who are in need of some extra comfort when facing life crises. Marianne is also the clerk at her local church.
Marianne currently lives in Nu Acers with her husband, daughter, two dogs, 16 chickens, and 1 guard goose.
