I moved to Idaho in 2001 from my hometown of Juneau, Alaska to attend the University of Idaho where I earned a bachelor’s of fine arts in studio arts (graphic design and printmaking). After graduation I lived in Moscow and worked at the University of Idaho until moving to Boise in August of 2008. My time in Moscow made me realize the importance of education in living a complete and fulfilled life and it is this realization that led me to pursue a career in higher education.
I have worked for the College of Western Idaho (CWI) since July 2009 and have been an Enrollment Specialist since January 2010. As an Enrollment Specialist I assist students who wish to attend college by helping them through the admission and financial aid processes, as well as advising and class registration. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, camping, and reading, especially on the subject of philosophy – an area that I contemplated pursuing on an academic level. I also continue to create art in my attic studio.
