Kathryn Bowen has been a part of the College of Western Idaho since 2012. As an adjunct instructor, she teaches first-year composition both in the traditional classroom and online. She also teaches at Boise State University as an adjunct instructor in the First Year Writing Program and discussion group leader with the University Foundations Program.
Bowen earned her B.A. in Creative Writing from The College of Idaho in 2010 and M.A. in English Literature from Boise State University in 2012. She enjoys postcolonial literature and theory and how these works can be used as avenues for political discussion.
When not on campus, Bowen is a full-time mom. She loves "stroller rides" with her son and running long-distance with her husband and friends.
