Kate Orduno

Faculty - Adjunct

Having grown up enjoying the challenge and logic of math, Kate earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from California State University, Fresno and her Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Idaho State University.  She’s taught at CWI since the fall of 2009 and enjoys getting to know her students and sharing her enthusiasm for the subject.

Kate grew up in a Navy family and moved around a lot.  She and her husband of twenty-plus years kept up the tradition of moving every few years with stops in Fresno, CA, Pocatello, Boise, Temecula, CA, and South Jordan, UT, before settling back down in the Boise area to establish roots once their son was born.  She’s a proud mom, an animal lover, a salsa fiend (the food, not the dance), a fan of all her friends’ kids and her kid’s friends, and a grateful Idahoan.
