Kae Jensen

Dean of STEM

Kae believes in life-long learning.  The belief that one is never too old to change his or her life through education attracts Kae to the community college setting where she has been working since 1997.  She began teaching college students in 2001 and has also taught K-12 students through a home-school cooperative.  The parent of children with special needs, Kae is particularly interested in the areas of exceptionality and special education.  Kae received a transfer Associate of Arts degree from Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, Wash., a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash., and her Master of Education from the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.
