James Markle is an Adjunct Professor of History at the College of Western Idaho, specializing in American History. In addition, he is the Social Science Department Chair and Director of Advanced Social Sciences at Nampa High School, Nampa, Idaho. He received an AA and BA from Boise State University and MA in American History from American Public University in West Virginia. He has been teaching at Nampa High School for 15 years, concentrating on Dual Credit US History and Dual Credit American Government. He has been instructing at the College of Western Idaho since opening its doors. Mr. Markle spends his off time bowling, as well as the writing and researching the American Antebellum period and the history of Idaho Territory.
