I joined CWI as adjunct faculty in 2012. I have worked in many different mental health settings, including the Department of Health and Welfare, the Idaho Youth Ranch, as a Department of Defense contractor at Mountain Home Air Force Base, the Psychiatric Center at St. Alphonsus and currently as a licensed therapist in private practice. I graduated from the College of Idaho (then Albertson College) and earned my Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah.
I am an Idaho native and have been a practicing counselor since 1998. I have a general psychotherapy practice in downtown Boise, where I work with individual adults and couples. My approach to therapy is client-centered and solution-focused. I assist clients to identify and access their strengths, and to obtain the tools to help manage life's challenges. Outside of the office (and the classroom), I enjoy being active in Idaho's beautiful outdoors.
