Bio:

I have a MA in Rhetoric & Composition from Boise State University and a BS in Chemistry from Eastern Washington University. I have studied parasitic diseases (leishmaniasis), and I've also done research on breast cancer. Because of my diverse background, I enjoy thinking about the reading and writing that you will be asked do in a variety of classes: English, biology, history, pscyhology etc. These different disciplines require reading/writing adaptation. As a college student at CWI, you will become adept at adapting.

In my free time, I enjoy running in the Boise foothills, cooking (I love to experiment with food) and spending time with my husband, Chip. This is our eleventh year in the Treasure Valley and we love the outdoor activities available: hiking, camping and floating the many rivers in Idaho.
