Alicia has taught courses in Western Civilizations and United States History at CWI since 2012. She received her Bachelor's in European History from Boise State University. In graduate school, she undertook a trans-Atlantic approach to the study of American religions and received a Master of Arts in History from Boise State University. Her academic interests include the Protestant Reformation, US History prior to the Civil War, the history of Christianity and Islam, and US Women's history.
Prior to CWI, Alicia worked for a number of years in the public sector in policy and project development and grant management. Having lived all over the United States and in Japan, Alicia enjoys traveling. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting, camping, and black-and-white photography.
