With an economy in recession and fewer jobs available, some students are left wondering why they went to college in the first place.
“Not being able to find a job in your field, it almost feels like to a lot of students spent all this time getting an education, all this money, on the promise that, ‘When I finished the American Dream would be right there in my hand’, and the economy is not coming through for (them),” Kevin Jensen, financial aid director at the College of Western Idaho said.
