Visiting Scientist Series Fall Lectures Conclude

Published: December 6, 2013

The College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) Visiting Scientist Series fall lectures will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 10, as Joseph Cloud, Ph.D., visits campus. Cloud is a professor of Zoology and director of the WWAMI Medical Education program at the University of Idaho. His presentation is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the CWI Library classroom at the Nampa Campus Multipurpose Building. Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m.

The Visiting Scientist Series is a great opportunity for students to explore advanced topics in their field, make connections to what they are currently studying, and preview what the future might hold when they transfer to a four-year institution. For faculty and staff, the series also provides a break from work to simply explore an interesting topic and engage in stimulating discussions.
