December 6, 2013

College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) December Staff of the Month is Matthew Barber. Matthew currently works at the Nampa Campus Micron Center for Professional Technical Education as a Specialist in One Stop Student Services. His dedication to CWI is appreciated by students, staff, and faculty. Matthew says his goal is to not only provide the best service possible and answer all of a student’s questions, but to also have them leave with a smile. Matthew previously applied his people skills as a Math Tutor and as a Specialist in Assessment. He also currently serves as Vice President for CWI’s Staff Senate. Matthew says he loves CWI and wants to help ensure the College continues to be a great institution.

Matthew has obtained three Associate of Art degrees from CWI in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and History. He is currently working towards a Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History from Lewis-Clark State College. On the weekends Matthew can be found hunting, playing darts, and spending time with those he loves. He says he values the friendships that he has developed at CWI and working with students.

Thank you Matthew for your continued dedication and enthusiasm for CWI and its students!
