- Management of the College's Ethics Hotline
On January 1, 2015, CWI became a Tobacco-Free Campus, as directed by Board Policy 4350. This policy is intended to positively promote a healthy learning environment for all who come to the College's campuses. This means that the use of all tobacco products, electronic and vapor cigarettes, or the sale, distribution, or advertisement of same, are prohibited in College buildings or on College premises, including events on College premises, and in College-owned, rented, or leased vehicles. This policy applies to any person on CWI owned or leased property, including all CWI employees, students, vendors, contractors and visitors. CWI Ethics Hotline
CWI is committed to conducting its affairs ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as institutional policies. Every member of the CWI community has an obligation to uphold that standard. CWI’s Policy Manual contains guidelines for conducting the affairs of the College with the highest standard of ethics and integrity, through the Codes of Conduct and Ethics policies.
CWI has contracted with NAVEX's EthicsPoint reporting service, a third-party provider, to provide an additional option for reporting concerns of suspected fraud or ethics violations or other violations of College policies and procedures. EthicsPoint can be accessed by clicking on the link provided or by going to www.cwi.ethicspoint.com.
Accidents, Incidents, Near-Miss, and Worker's Compensation
All accidents, incidents, and near-misses that occur on CWI property, and to students, employees, or the public, should be reported to Risk Management. The Accident-Incident Report form includes directions on completing the form and submitting it properly.
Risk Management also manages the College's Worker's Compensation. The Accident-Incident Report form, along with CWI's Worker's Compensation Procedures and a listing of Occupational Medical Facilities locations can be found on myCWI under Risk Management, or by clicking on the link provided.
