Thank You for Supporting CWI

"We believe education is a key stepping stone in advancing your career. We know that education beyond high school is a serious accomplishment that needs to be achieved if you want a professional or technical career. That is why we fund scholarships to folks who need assistance."

    Reasons to Support Scholarship Donations:

    • 74 percent of CWI students receive some form of grant or scholarship
    • By 2018, 61 percent of jobs in Idaho will require postsecondary education
    • The lifetime earning potential for those with an associate’s degree is nearly one-third more than those with a high school diploma
    • Your donation is tax deductible
    • CWI tuition is nearly half the cost of four-year universities – your money goes farther here!

We Have Two Types of Scholarships:

    • Annual Scholarships are distributed every year until all funds are distributed in their entirety.
    • Endowed Scholarships are established to provide scholarships that will last year after year. The principal is invested, and the interest accrued is then disbursed as scholarships based on the donor's criteria.

There are Various Factors for Scholarships:

    • Need Based - students in need of financial assistance
    • Program Based - students in a specific program
    • Merit Based - students with a high GPA

*Gifts made to the CWI Foundation are tax deductible (Tax ID# 27-1159705) to the full extent allowed by law. Consult your tax professional for advice on your personal tax situation.
