Steps for New International Students - Degree Seeking:

Do you qualify as an international student?

1 Apply Today

  • Be 18 or older
  • Complete the paper Application for Admission
  • Include the one-time $25 application fee (nonrefundable) with your application

2 Submit Transcripts

Submit the following transcripts:

  • Official High School transcripts must be translated to English or Spanish. An official transcript must be sent directly from the original school or come in a sealed envelope.  Faxed or emailed transcripts must include a cover sheet and be signed by the school.
  • Official College transcripts from all previous international institutions attended need to be sent to World Education Services(wes.org) at your expense and list CWI as the recipient of the evaluation.

3 Complete Additional Documents

Submit the following documents as a part of the admission process :

**All of these documents combined with the regular admission requirements must be submitted prior to the International Student Admission deadline.

4 Get Your Student Visa

Next Steps:

  • Once all admissions requirements are met and the international applicant is accepted to CWI, the DSO will issue the I-20.
  • The student must then submit the I-20 to the American Consulate to be considered for a student visa.

If you are out of the country at the time of application, CWI can admit you without COMPASS results, however you will be required to take it before registering for Math/English.
