I started working at College of Western Idaho in 2008 before there were students. Over the last 5 years I have had the pleasure of watching the college grow and change lives. Currently I am working as the Manager of Outreach and spend my time building relationships with all of the schools and agencies. It has been a privilege to help students see their goals met and be a part of their experience.
My husband and I moved to Boise with our three children in 1993. After raising a family I returned to college and earned a Bachelor’s degree. I enjoy spending my free time camping, fishing, hiking, and any outdoor activity that Idaho offers.
As a Boise native I was here when College of Western Idaho was founded and have already seen the tremendous impact it has on our community. I have a passion for helping others and it was because of this passion that I found myself drawn to the field of Social Work. I attended Boise State and earned both my Bachelors and Masters of Social Work. After completing my degrees I worked for several non-profits in the Treasure Valley, but always found myself drawn back to education. While I have only worked at CWI for two years I have found myself in a field that I really enjoy. When meeting with students I strive to show that college is a reality not an unattainable goal. It is because of my commitment to this community and my passion for helping others that I actively pursue potential students for the exciting journey of higher education.
Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outside. I love hiking, camping, fishing and reading.
