Students who desire to apply for admission to the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Medical Assistant program are admitted to CWI as Biology-Healthcare majors. Admission to the Biology-Healthcare major does not guarantee admission to the Medical Assistant program. Only students who submit a completed Medical Assistant Application by the application deadline will be considered. Twenty students are admitted each spring semester. Candidates not admitted to the original cohort may be placed on an alternate list for admission in the event that an opening occurs. Applicants need to reapply each year if not admitted.
