Disbursements

You are here

Your financial aid at College of Western Idaho (CWI) will be disbursed to your student account. A disbursement is the releasing and payment of your financial aid funds to pay your tuition and fees.

  • According to federal requirements, CWI must confirm student academic engagement for all courses before releasing federal funds.
  • View the Academic Calendars to see the first disbursement date by semester.
    • After the first scheduled disbursement date has passed, disbursements occur on Mondays and Wednesdays excluding federal holidays and institutional closures.
    • If you do not complete the financial aid application process by the Financial Aid Priority Deadline, your disbursement may occur after the first scheduled disbursement date.
