Are there any designated smoking areas on campus?

Until Jan. 1, 2015, smoking will only be allowed in designated areas. Per CWI’s policy, the use of electronic/vapor cigarettes, burning of any type of pipe, cigar, cigarette, or similar product, and chewing tobacco is prohibited in all campus buildings as well as in all vehicles owned, leased, or rented by the College.

The use of electronic/vapor cigarettes, burning of any type of pipe, cigar, cigarette, or similar product, and chewing tobacco is also prohibited within 50 feet, (approximately 20 paces), of all campus buildings. Organizers and attendees of public events held at CWI facilities, such as conferences, meetings, public lectures, and social and cultural events must also abide by the College’s Smoking Restrictions Procedure.
