How do I set up a paper with APA formatting?

Cover Page: “Running head:” is flush left in the header of the page with no more than 50 characters of the title in all caps. The page number is flush right in the header on all pages. The full title of the paper, your name, and the name of the institution is centered and ten single-spaced lines down on the page.

Abstract: Place the title of no more than 50 characters in the header of the rest of the paper without “Running head:”. The title for this page, “Abstract”, is centered at the top of the page. Use 150-250 words to summarize the paper. “Keywords:” is indented half an inch and italicized, followed by 3-5 search terms. Only proper nouns have title case capitalization.

Body of Text: The title is centered with title case capitalization and paragraphs are indented half an inch. The whole paper should be double-spaced with Times New Roman, 12 point font.

Internal Headings: First and Second level headings are bold with title case capitalization. First Level is centered. Second Level is flush left.

References Page: “References” is centered at the top of the page. Each entry is listed alphabetically by the first letter character of the entry. All text is double-spaced with hanging indents, which have the first line of each entry flush left with subsequent lines indented half an inch from the left margin.
