What is the Certificate of Residency/Affidavit Out-of-District process?
The student will fill out the form and send it to his/her county of residence. Once the county receives the form, they will attempt to verify the student’s residency. If the county does verify the student’s residency, CWI as well as the student will be notified. The Out-of-District fees will be removed from the student’s account and become the responsibility of the county. If the county does not verify the student’s residency, the Out-of-District fees will be his/her responsibility to pay.
