What are the plans for development of the Nampa Campus?
The recently completed Nampa Campus Master Plan update is based on growth estimates through 2040. Development of the Master Plan included collaborative visioning and working sessions engaging groups throughout the College, local and state agencies, and surrounding communities.
Resoundingly, these working sessions revealed the greatest needs of students and the communities were more dedicated space for health programs and a dedicated facilities for student support services. The planned Health Sciences building will consolidate and expand the College’s health programs and associated academic labs and classrooms into a single location. Jobs in the healthcare industry are the highest demand positions in our valley with one of the highest growth indicators for the future. The planned Student Success Center will foster student involvement and peer mentoring alongside the College’s support staff to enhance a one-stop approach for students to attain the critical care that leads to success. Infrastructure to support these buildings as well as facilities to enhance other programs has been determined to be part of the College's priority phase of development.
