How did CWI decide on the purchase price for the Boise land?
The College Board of Trustees conducted an in-depth review of properties in Ada County, including the greater Downtown Boise area, looking at location, size, cost, building considerations and accessibility for students. Sites that were evaluated ranged in size, location, and costs of $16 - $36 per square foot. Based on the exhaustive search and review of the 10-acre property at Main Street and Whitewater Boulevard, the Board believes it is the best long-term investment to serve students and the community. The completed appraisal valued the property at $8.975M, which supports the Purchase and Sale Agreement amount of $8.8M.
