If you drop or withdraw from one or all of your classes by close of business on census date in any semester while attending CWI, you will receive a 100 percent refund for courses dropped.

All tuition and fees are refunded if a course is canceled and a replacement class is not chosen.

Fees which are non-refundable include but are not limited to:
  • Application Fee
  • Payment Plan Fee
  • Late Payment Fee
  • Reinstatement Fee
  • NSF Check Fee

Tuition and Fee Refunds for Spring 2015

  • 100 percent refund, minus any non-refundable tuition/fees, will apply until close of business Monday, January 26 .
  • After January 26 no refunds will be given for courses that have already started.
  • Note: Deadlines vary for Professional Technical Education, Business Partnerships/Workforce Development, and other courses with non standard start/end dates.

ANY STUDENT WHO HAS NOT PAID AND DOES NOT HAVE A TUITION & FEES PAYMENT PLAN MAY BE DROPPED WITHOUT NOTICE.

Students seeking reinstatement after being dropped for non-payment may be charged a reinstatement fee of $10 per credit up to $120 plus a $50 late fee.

Refund and Tuition & Fees Payment Plan policies do not relieve the student of their responsibility to drop classes.

Financial Aid Refunds

Financial aid funds are used first to pay direct institutional costs (tuition, fees, and other institutional charges). If your financial aid funds exceed the amount owed to CWI for tuition, fees, and other institutional charges you will receive a refund.
