The sample course plan feature is best suited to new students

Ready to start college level courses or students transferring in with very little transfer credit. Using the sample course plan will not recognize your transfer credits and as a result will show courses that may have already been completed. This may cause you a few extra steps in your planning and registration. If you are unsure about your progress, please speak to an academic advisors and they will be happy to help you plan your future courses.

To begin, access Student Planning located within myCWI.cc

Log into Student planning using your regular username and password. Remember, your username is always lowercase.

Choose "Student Planning


Click on Box 1 “View Your Progress”.

Click on “Load Sample Course Plan”.

A pop up will appear. Select Term. Select program. Click on “Preview Plan” button.

If program is available for your catalog year a plan will load and a pop will appear. If this plan suits your needs choose “Load”.

You will be directed to the current semester and the courses for that term will appear in the column on the left.

If you would like to see all of the courses planned using the Course Plan tool go to your timeline.

The timeline can show your future planned courses and any courses you have taken in the past.

You can scan all courses using the arrows on the left and right. If you wish to make changes to future courses you can do this in the timeline or in the calendar view by clicking on the X next to the courses. If you wish to remove an entire semester you may click the X next to that semester. If you wish to remove all planned courses click the Remove Planned Courses button.
*Note: These courses have only been planned and are not registered. You can make any changes to the future plan.

After you have planned your courses with this tool you can request a review by an advisor in order to be sure that everything is correct.

Click on Advising.

Compose a note with questions or comments. Click on “Request Review”.

An advisor will respond to your request.
