Student E-mail
Student e-mail is provided through Windows Live. You receive official College of Western Idaho (CWI) updates and communicate with your instructors using this e-mail account. Other features are available to you through your Windows Live account, such as remotely hosted storage with SkyDrive. Windows Live @mycwi.cc offers 5 gigabytes of e-mail storage, up to 25 gigabytes of password-protected online storage space, full calendaring service, task & note management, scheduled e-mail reminders and an enhanced address book. In addition, students will be able to keep their e-mail account after they graduate.
Faculty and Staff E-mail
Microsoft Exchange is the primary email system for CWI faculty and staff. In addition to email, Exchange provides integrated calendaring and scheduling, contacts, notes, task lists and access to public folders. The preferred email client is Microsoft Outlook.
OWA provides our faculty and staff with the ability to access email, calendars, contacts, and tasks from any computer with Internet access.
