Logo Design Contest

thumb-l_cwi_connections_project_logowtitle.pngWe are currently accepting submissions for this year’s Connections Project Logo Design.  The design selected will be used for all 2017 Connections Project marketing and information resources made available to the public. 

Last year's winning logo design is displayed on the right. Prize money details will be announced soon.

Deadline for Logo Design Submissions is 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

The Annual Connections Project: Connect, Educate and Inspire

  • Demonstrate accomplishment 
    • Students: (i.e., class project, artwork, music, debate, poster, paper, etc.)
    • Community member or agency (i.e., seminar, project, service, artwork, music, dance, etc.)
    • Faculty (service learning, teams, projects, posters, papers, research, publication, etc.)
  • Make connections with others who share similar interests
  • Explore personal and professional collaborations with CWI and community participants

Student, faculty, and community members are invited to make submissions for inclusion in the event. All student submissions will be eligible for awards, that includes $200 for the winning submission. Submit your project ideas below

Submission Instructions:

Logo Design

Submit Now before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016.

  • Attach your logo (File size limit: 10MB)
  • The subject line in your email submission needs to say: Logo Submission
  • Include the following information in the email body of each submission: 
    • Your name
    • Student ID
    • Email address
    • Mailing address
    • Phone number

Student

Submissions are open to all student work from Summer 2016, Fall 2016 and Spring 2017.

Submit Now before 5 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017.

  • The subject line in your email submission needs to match the category for which you are submitting (See table below)
  • All submissions should include the following in the body of your email submission:
    • Your name
    • Student ID
    • Email address
    • Mailing address
    • Phone number
    • Name of professor
    • Semester
    • Class the submission was created for

Posters Poster Submission Your poster title PowerPoint slide, vertically oriented with a max width of 24" (File size limit: 10MB)  
Mini-Talks Mini-Talk Submission Your talk title and length (in minutes) No attachment required  
Juried Art Show Art Show Submission The title of your artwork and whether it is 2D or 3D Attach an image of your art work (File size limit: 10MB)  
Other Projects Other Project Submission The title of your project, if your project takes physical form, and its size An electronic version your project. Project file, website address, photograph, etc. (File size limit: 10MB)  

Faculty

Submissions are open to all faculty to request space for student coursework from Summer 2016, Fall 2016 and Spring 2017.

Submit Now To submit your project and/or that of your students, email submissions before 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017

  • Copy and paste this into your submission email’s subject line: Faculty Submission
  • Include the following information in the body of each email submission:
    • Your name, email address, and phone number where we can reach you if needed
    • A description of the project you are submitting including a narrative of how your project facilitates connections among CWI faculty, staff, and students and the surrounding community as well as demonstrating the value of your discipline to the larger community
    • The type of display space you will need to showcase the project (size, technology, wall/floor space, etc.)
    • If you are submitting student work, include the number of students’ whose work you expect to display
    • Include any additional information that will help us to best showcase the project
